Fides Entrepreneurship: When the World Locked Down, One Studio Became a Chapel - Rob Kaczmark’s Story

Church closed during COVID-19
In 2020, during COVID-19 when parish doors were locked and pews went dark, one unlikely place kept its lights burning:
A small chapel, tucked inside a video production studio in an industrial park in Chicago.
While most of the world refreshed news feeds and case numbers, Rob Kaczmark and his team at Spirit Juice Studios were wiring cameras, vesting priests, and live streaming daily Mass and Divine Mercy from their office chapel.
It wasn’t glamorous. It wasn’t a major cathedral.
But for thousands watching online, it became the only place they could see the Eucharist.
Rob wasn’t always so passionate about the Eucharist though.
He grew up Catholic, drifting through the usual tension between what the world offers and what actually brings life.
Through youth ministry, BMX and skate culture, and a hunger to tell stories that mean something, he slowly discovered a call:
Capture people’s imagination so you can capture their hearts for God.
That call led him to start Spirit Juice Studios, now one of the most recognized Catholic media companies in the country.
They’ve worked with Jonathan Roumie, Hallow, Bishop Barron, Mark Wahlberg, and more.
But behind the cameras and Emmy awards is something deeper:
a conviction that media can change how people see the Mass.
When Rob produced The Veil Removed, a short film showing the unseen spiritual reality at Mass messages began pouring in:
“I never knew that’s what was happening at Mass.”
“This brought me back to the Eucharist.”
“I’ll never see the consecration the same way again.”
The same is true of his newest work: a Catholic kids’ YouTube channel that helps parents explain the faith to 3–8 year olds in a language they actually understand.
“A small little video, a livestream Mass or Divine Mercy hits the right person at the right time… Sometimes even just the appearance of someone on camera praying that looks a little different can bring someone in.”
This is no doubt where putting faith base entrepreneurship first needs to go:
Building chapels in workplaces
Using creative gifts to evangelize
Reaching the people who would never walk into a parish talk—but might watch a clip on their phone at 1:00 a.m.
As we prepare for our last talk of the year, we’d like to invite you to do two things this week:
Think of one person in your life who’s far from the Church or has grown numb to the Mass.
Ask God how your gifts creative, professional, or entrepreneurial could become a “chapel” for them, a place where Heaven quietly touches Earth.
Then come hear Rob share how he built exactly that in the middle of suburban Chicago.

It’s officially been more then 1 year since we started Fides Entrepreneurship!
After many ups and downs we’re very happy and thankful to God to have been able to reach this milestone!
Such is why we’re hosting a Christmas Party to celebrate all that has happened over the last year!
Past speakers and attendees who have been with us since the beginning will reflect on how this community has challenged, encouraged, and transformed them over the past year.
Other then joy and celebration as Christmas is around the corner you will also hear a word from each one of our past speakers and attendees on the impact Fides has made on them as well as meet many people who have supported us since the very beginning.
Not only that but this party will help sponsor Catholic high school and university students so they can attend our monthly Fides Entrepreneurship events throughout 2026.
Like how the New York Economics Club and Wings Club have sponsors, who sponsor student tables your support will allow students Universities and local Catholic high schools to attend for free, gain real world business experience, be part of a community of mentors, founders, and ultimately learn what it means to make an impact through ones faith.
We truly cannot wait to see you there as we share with you what’s next for Fides, as well celebrate all the great things that have come to be in the last year!!
