A Moment of Mourning—A Call to Mission
With the recent passing of Pope Francis, a deep sense of loss and uncertainty has spread across the world. Many are mourning. Many are seeking. And many are choosing to act.
Just yesterday morning at Our Savior Church on Park Avenue, the priest shared, “Almost everyone went to Rome yesterday with the Cardinal—and we don’t know when they’ll be back. It could be a while.”
Even Yahoo Finance reported yesterday on the unfinished but significant strides Pope Francis made in reforming the Church’s finances. His work was monumental—and it reminds us how much there is still to do.
But in this moment of grief, we also see a great opportunity. Each of us, as individual Catholics, is called to carry the torch—to make a difference in our own way.

That’s where Jacob comes in.
Jacob is developing an AI app to bring Catholic Scripture and Teachings directly into your hands—making the wisdom of the Church something we can live and breathe every day.
But more than tech, Jacob is here to talk about mission. Your mission.
So many of us quietly carry dreams in our hearts:
“I wish I could start a school.”
“If only I could help the homeless.”
“I wish I could start my own family.”
These aren’t idle thoughts. They’re whispers from the Holy Spirit calling us toward something greater. Jacob’s journey—from a grassroots mission to a movement now supported by figures like Matt Fradd—is proof that those whispers can become reality.
Let Jacob’s story inspire yours. This is not just a talk—it’s an invitation to follow the truth within your heart. Whether it’s starting a school, serving the poor, or embracing your vocation—now is the time.
In the midst of sorrow, let us rise in love, in truth, and in mission.
We hope to see you there.
